This is awesome! :D

JAME24 responds:

Thanks a lot! :D

Awesome! I think if you added chords to go under that and a bass line this would be perfect! :D

GeometryDashBrad responds:

Yep I totally agree, this is just the product of a hour or so messing around.

I am always excited when I see content from you! This is really nice. Very simplistic, yet complicated at the same time (Does that make sense?). This does loop very well and flows nicely. I really hope somebody uses this fine piece of music in a game or animation! Very well mixed. I did enjoy this music.

P.S.
Sometimes I feel like being a jerk to a great song and I think I may do that here, by saying something that isn't needed. The violins that do appear in the song should be "humanized." No human plays a perfect note on a violin, so maybe a give or take 2 detune would be nice. If this violin was recorded/ this task was already done, I would like to apologize for a false suggestion.

Troisnyx responds:

Thanks. The velocities were modified, but a detune sounds like a nice idea. I'll play around with it in the next track that uses it, and see what happens :D

Glad you like it. This thing was indeed intended to be used in a game, a game that I'd conceived for getting on four and a half years. *Sigh* For want of programmers.

The mixing in this song was very good! I wish I could put a review with some intellectual thought into it, but I don't have much to say other than the fact that you have a mastery over music. I do love the bass you have at around 2:15 and I would love to hear more of this sound!

SpeTheof responds:

thanks man!

YES DJ STRIDEN! THIS IS WHAT IS AMAZING!

This worked so well! I didn't know this was out or else I would have left a review sooner. The piano worked so well. The drums actually didn't sound that generic as they normally do. The chords worked so beautifully together (What key are they in? ^-^) The tension in the middle of the song was amazing. The grit in the dubstep was perfect. You had a perfect number of layers of music (Was I the only one who herd the "Drop the bass" dude at each drop?) I really wish I could leave a longer review about how amazing this is, but there is nothing else to say.
Thanks for making amazing music!

DJStriden responds:

Thank you for listening to it, and for your review! Glad you like it :)

No offense, this isn't exactly my cup of tea. The sounds were really more harsh than usual. Don't get me wrong, most of your dubstep is actually amazing. Some of your dubstep is the best on NG. I just personally didn't like this.

DJStriden responds:

Sorry about that :/ I'll do better next time!

Damn it LawnReality, you are too good. Why haven't you been realized by some animator yet? This music is very complex and sounds amazing. This could work well for so many things. I'm currently trying to make cinematic music but I don't think I could get even near to this quality (For I am using an old version of garage band). This is super good though.

LawnReality responds:

Thanks! I'm really glad you like this!

I really like the chords that you use! They are very good. I didn't have a single problem with the synths, they are extremely well picked (I like the bell). The only mini problem I have is the drums. The cutoff was too short for the drums. But that's about it. Really well pieced together. I can't wait for another song! (It is amazing that you made this song in the time you did!)

Poosac responds:

Sometimes it takes weeks to make a single song, sometimes it only takes two days with some motivation to make a good song ;) . thnx for your review pal :D

I'll make you a deal. Release 3 more songs with this type of quality (Doesn't matter what genre) and I'll scout you. Just message me when you create a song :)

I would think about adding a b section to this, but the chords you picked out were great. One note: Most people are really bad at having a pitch bend in the chords of their song, but you have seemed to actually utilize this pitch bend. Congrats to you for being able to use it!

Poosac responds:

Thnx dude :D

I can tell that you put a huge amount of effort into this song. I would check some of the chords you use. I don't know if it is your chords or if it is the pitch bend in the lead synth, but it needs to be fixed. The actual bass used was rather good for dubstep. It did get a little awkward when the bass note had ended and you were left with this high pitched wobble of a note. I would like to mention that dubstep isn't exactly my cup of tea, so I know I can't rate this properly without being biased. So, because I know I am biased, I will give you a 4/5

KaixoMusic responds:

thanks for your opinion, idk what you mean with the lead synth, you mean the 3rd part? That is actually a wobble, so yeah it sounds kinda weird, but dubstep uses all sorts of weird sounds, so i thought this would fit.
