GIVE THAT MAN A FREE SEAT AT THE STAR WARS MOVIE!!!
Actually I got a free seat because of my silly music projects. I had to make them live at the Star Wars premiere.
Thanks for review.
Woah! I really like this theme! I am a newbie at making songs. So I would love to ask what chord progression this is. But I love this song. Really!
Glad you enjoyed it that much, thanks a million for the kind words! I am not really the one to ask for composing details, when I work with music I just step into a creative world where whatever comes to mind is what I make, I don't really think in theoretical terms etc.
So many people have been talking about this song. I decided to take a look today, and I think I just had an eargasim. I think I will check out your music more often!
Dang dj striden! Get famous already! I can't believe that you aren't a big name guy! Please put another album on iTunes while you're at getting famous. Hahaha!
This is what I waited all week for (when I say waited I mean waited)! Amazing music
WHY DIDN'T I SEE THIS EARLIER!!! 3:00 Is really freaking creepy. Nice job. The voices can be herd better than before. I always like to give constructive criticism, so I would think about giving this a more cryptic feel to it. Experiment with diminish chords and minor chord, and all that fun stuff (But hey, I don't crap about music, so I may have just said one of the most dumbass things that you have herd of all time) But yeah, still amazing. 4/5
Not not at all. I used a lot more dissonant chord structures in the previous version for sure. But there are dim chords in this... and its pretty much all minor haha.
For this version I tried to keep my Elfman influence at a minimum cuz I didn't want to just recreate the same song and when I made Halloweenstep my idea going in was "What if someone made an Elfman-esque dubstep track.... yeah let's do that!"
I made a pretty creppy video too if you wanna check that out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKr7oWsjaVQ
Thanks for the review! Hope your halloween was spoopy and awesome! :D
My jaw dropped to the floor when I herd this. Holy crap. I still don't understand how you make songs every week.
2,677 plays, 731 Downloads.... 1 (now 2) reviews.... Wow. dang, newgrounds makes so much sense. Anyways, I love the song! I think it flowed nicely. The only complaint I have is at 1:20 you put a synth and a drum- like sound at the same exact time. I wasn't too fond of what the result was. I personally don't like the way it sounded. 4/5
Hey! Thanks for the review, haha. That gimmick at 1:20 was just some random stuff I was sprinkling around so it didn't sound so empty. It could definitely work without it but yeaaah. Whatever makes the song sound more disturbing and unsettling may or may not be better :D.
This is the first song by you. I have seen your username from time to time but I wasn't that interested. Today I think that will change. This song is amazing. I think the slide that you use to your notes makes this stand out in a good way. I would just like to ask for questions about music in general... if you don't mind. I am just a kid who is interested into music, and more importantly how to make it. How long did it take you to learn music theory. What programs you use? Lastly, how do you make an impression on the internet? Sorry, I just think that if you want to learn, you have to hear form the best. Thanks!
