Even though I don't animate I know how much this happens.

Yea, it's really annoying when you're in the middle of something
RIT? As in "Rochester Institute of Technology?" It is a good school. Great sophomore film! I love the artwork and the gag was clever. Who were the voice actors? They were really good whoever they are. Very great film!
Yes yes yes read those credits
For one thing, if you are 10 and you made this this is amazing! You will certainly be a top notch animator in the future. On a second thought, why are you on NG if you are 10?!? O.o;
Thanks so much! I want to show people what kind of things I do so I joined Newgrounds and made a little fib about my age. ; D
Happy Pico day!
Thanks for the review!
Before I write this review, I would like to say that I am not an animator and have absolutely no idea how long this took to make. I just have spent a long time observing what is good in content and what is not as definite. I'm sorry that I sound extremely hypocritical writing this review, I just want to see you grow as an artist on NG. You know, clean the portal up for good content. I do realize that this is your first submission on NG, but there are a few things that still need to be cleared up:
Plot- An animation should have a clear and definite point to it. This "point" is in the theme. Themes are portrayed through the cycle of an exposition, conflict and conclusion. There are many sub categories under this, but most animations flow with this pattern. The exposition should come gradually, and shouldn't be smudged within 4 lines of dialogue. There wasn't an apparent conflict that had any emotional meaning. There wasn't enough for the viewer to have any emotional feeling for the characters. The conflict did come very soon. In my opinion, I feel like there wasn't a satisfying conclusion.
Voice acting- You did say that the voice acting was sub par, but I didn't exactly hear what was being said. I'm sure this is due to the microphones you have to use in thee first place, but adding an extreme amount of diction may have patched up a few problems.
Backgrounds- This was actually not too bad. I do enjoy it when people put "Easter Eggs" inside the background, like the scene when the emo goes to the secret lair. The backgrounds were very well thought with the color scheme. Well done in this area!
For a first animation, it is generally ok to put out content like this. I would just like to point out a few areas that could use some work.
Hey,
Thanks alot for the review, yeah, the plot was pretty smudged and badly paced, I hope to make this better in later animations. I have reasonably good Blue Snowball microphone, but It didn't work at the time this was made (1 month ago, uploaded to to newgrounds only now) but again, thanks for the review :)
That was very well made! I love how you made the title with "bye" instead of "by" because (I think) it represents the fact that he had to leave. For a first animation, this deserves a 5 star. There was a clear plot, with an exposition, conflict and conclusion. I did enjoy this animation!
Thank you! That's very kind of you, I'm really glad you liked it :)
I really can't wait to see more of your work on newgrounds! We need people like you. Good luck for the series. I love your color choices, and the animation was great. Very amazing work. I took off 1/2 of the star because I feel like the time for the title to appear was a little long. But it wasn't that much of a problem, for I only took off 1/2 of a star.
thank you very much ^^
I'm glad that I could see this! Super clever as always.
Thanks as always!
Although I hate to admit it, I don't know much about animation. But I can say that this is very good for only a second animation.
Thank you for the kind words. I've always been interested in animating, but never got around to learning how. I finally can begin, and I'll be using Game grumps as a vehicle to explore the techniques I need to grow!
The color scheme was perfect, and the animation was very smooth.
Thank's!:D
